Sales Meetings and Training Sessions For You or Them?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with CastNet Realty TREC#263257

Does your office have sales meetings or training sessions?  Ours does.

Is it mandatory for you to attend

I have heard agents talk about meetings like these in the past and complain about having to attend.  Are the meetings really for you or for them, the manager or broker.  Maybe they are for your client?  They should be.

I believe everything in our business should revolve around our clients.  We say in our Mission Statement, it's all about great service to our clients.  So, is furthering our education and staying on top of the market and what's going on in our office or local MLS important for better client service?  YES!  Emphatically YES!

That's what these meetings are about.  YOU and YOUR CLIENT.

Can YOU afford to miss the meetings?  NO!  If your manager or broker is working hard to bring you good information and training every week, then be sure and show up and participate.  These meetings will help you.  The information will help your clients and the result will be more money in your pocket, more knowledge, more respect, more prestige, when you know more than your competition.

See you at the meeting!

Hi Ricki... you are certainly a force to be reckoned with!  What you have described is an enlightened perspective on office meetings and training.  If you truly have the "right" people working with you, I am certain they will share and respect your viewpoint on this.

Ricki...Yes we have them and I agree that they should be for the clients. I think if you make them fun then everyone wants to come. We have ours in the morning and usually have biscuits, juice and coffeeeeeeee, that helps a lot!

Thanks for the reminder of what it should always be about!

Hope you have a great day!

Ricki, all you share in this blog is true.  It is vital to keep learning and growing. My conversations with Top Producing agents confirm that they all use learning and studying as a pillar of their success.  If you are not learning you are moving on a much slower road towards your goals.  Education and training coupled with consistency will bear results each and every time.  Thanks for your post.

Hi Larry,   You are right about all of that.  It's obvious you believe it too with the path you are on, my friend.

Howdy Dale,  The clients interest should be our first priority. Have a good one!

Hi John,  There is so much good info, it makes you wonder why anyone would ever miss.
