One of the most overlooked aspects of using LinkedIn is that you can actually capture the contact information for all your connections to be used personally. This means you can add them to your own database, e-mail contacts, or more importantly to your other social media networks. How you ask?

Simple: Export your Contacts From LinkedIn

This presentation shows you how to export your contacts form LinkedIn with just a few clicks of your mouse-less than 5 minutes of your time for the entire process-and well worth the time if your contacts can be added to your other social networks.

Watch the presentation on How to export LinkedIn contacts here:

Now that you exorted your contacts and have the file you can upload them to your email account or database. Want to learn how to add them to your other social networks? Follow us for Part Two: Linking LinkedIn contacts to Your Social Networks (Facebook, Twitter).

Please share or re-blog if you find this useful. Do you have any other tasks regarding social media you would like to learn? Post your comments and we will generate new presentations to cover any questions you have.

Thanks for this tip.  It is getting so time consuming to keep up with all of these social networking sites.

hi Megan,

have been looking at some of your other posts and appreciate the work that you do!

Having had a Buyer Assistant and Admin. Assistant Team that did not work out (quality issues)

I should have looked at outsourcing Virtually.

Now I'm with a boutique brokerage that has a commission cut that reflects the shared Advertising Pro etc.

Have to say I'm happier and the standards are high.  Shame I had to leave my former colleagues behind

Maybe as the industry continues to change, more and more REALTOR(R)s will embrace technology and do what they're best at while hiring help for where they're lacking?  It would improve  public perception of this industry.  We're  only human -- and we androids want a Life after all
