I have recently been turned on to a GREAT file organizing and sharing system called Dropbox. Dropbox is a simple online virtual storage utility that allows you to make your files accessible from almost anywhere. It was designed for those tired of emailing files from one computer to the other and no need to continue to carry flash drives around.
However, where I have found it most useful in REALTOR mode is sharing files with clients. As we are plagued with short sale and foreclosures the contracts and addendum's have made contracts even longer. So what I do is scan the paperwork and I can share a LINK to the Client, Cooperating Agent, Attorney, Appraiser etc.. without clogging up there email in box with a large megabyte file.
