I always get a kick out of some of the stuff that people will buy on eBay:

  1. potato chip in the shape of Wisconsin
  2. chewing gum that has been chewed and spit out by a famous person
  3. dirty napkin from a restaurant because it was dirtied by a famous person
  4. dirty bed sheets from a hotel because two famous people slept on them

Recently I was out taking pictures of orchids over in the Balboa Park Botanical Building and found this mommy staring at me:

Orchid guy

I loved the flare in her dress and her outstretched arms as she danced in the wind. When I looked closer, I saw that she was dancing with her little one:

Orchid guy

Reminds me of when I used to lie in the grass and look for things in the clouds. More importantly, though, can I sell it on eBay

Russel,  I don't know if anyone will buy the orchid -- but I bet you could sell the photo.  It is another great one and I'm certain that a lot of people would love to own some of your photos.

Great photo, Russel!  And your comments regarding Ebay are spot on ~ there is certainly a huge market for the more quirky buyers.

Not sure if you can or not -- but don't try and sell Zoey on E-bay!

If it were only in the shape of Jesus or some religious figure, I think you might have some success!

Hi Russel, what a pretty flower.  The orchid show at Zilker Botanical Gardens is sometime in April.  I'll post the pics.

Hi, Russel. You have a great eye and a quirky sense of humor. I always enjoy your comments as much as the pictures themselves. You're lucky you have so much raw material to work with!

There probably is no limit to what people are willing to buy on Ebay as long as it's legal. By the way Russel thanks for the advice, and all the help you provide.
