Southern California Chapter of CRS Presents REO 101 and 102 in Oxnard California
There are two opportunities in Southern California to advance your learning and understanding of the REO market: to learn HOW to obtain more REO listings AND manage them. For only $99 per class (normally $149 per class), with the SoCal CRS sponsorship, you will learn from a local REO expert (Silver Lining Workshops) with hundreds of REO transactions under her belt.
Here's some of what you will learn:
REO 101:
Topics covered included an Introduction to REO Market, foreclosure and MLS Statistics, a 2-hour BPO Breakout Session, terminology, prospecting for REO accounts, preparation of an REO resume, web site creation, and tools and technology for successful REO prospecting for buyers and listings.
The first and most important factor in learning any niche market is to learn how to become proficient as an expert in the field. Market overview and statistical information coupled with proper preparation of an REO-specific resume and Broker Price Opinions (BPOs) is the key to securing new and additional REO accounts.

REO 102:
The second part of this two part series begins with a review of the assignments given in the first workshop, and move on to the proper techniques needed to manage an active REO account and portfolio of properties. On completion of both workshops an agent can expect that they will have the skill set needed to work in the REO market which is now expected to run for the next 5-10 years.
