Ross-  You are right on the money!  Not only is a dirty house a turn off to home buyers, it also portrays itself as being unmaintained.  From a buyer's perspective, the cleaner and more organized a home is, the more the sellers care about their home and most likely maintained it well.

Soooooooo true. Scarey thing is that I think I am going to list my house and then I will have to keep it really clean which is a big challenge! sigh...

It's funny that as a home seller people don't want to do a deep clean of their home, as they are too busy, but when they turn around and go to buy a home they can't believe the condition of the homes that they are viewing and require a clean home.
