February 2010 Real Estate Market Report: Glen Lakes Golf and Country Club Community, Weeki Wachee, Spring Hill, Florida

Home sales activity in the in the Glen Lakes Golf and Country Club Community continued on a positive note with four completed transactions, an increase in properties under contract, and less inventory of actively listed homes for sale resulting in a slight increase in median and average list prices. 

The highest priced property available in the Glen Lakes Golf and Country Club Community is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 3 car garage single family pool home, built in 2001 with 3267 sf living space and a list price of $535,000.

Good news for the community is that currently none of the homes for sale in the Glen Lakes Golf and Country Club Community are distressed offerings such as short sales or bank-owned properties. 

The lowest priced property listed in Glen Lakes is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 2 car garage maintainance free villa, built in 2003, with 989 sf living and a list price of $115,000.

Glen Lakes Golf and Country Club is an upscale gated community with 24-hour security located on the west coast of Central Florida with easy access to Tampa and Orlando.

$146,500  was the sales price for a 3/2/2 maintained villa, built in 2002 with 1550 living square foot and 2346 sf total.  Financing for this property was cash.

$150,000 was the purchase price, also in cash, for a 3/2/2 Pool home, built in 2003 with 1723 sf living and 2394 sf total. 

$221,000 with conventional financing was obtained for a 4/3/3 Pool home, built in 1991 with 2911 sf living and 3999 sf total.
