Rick: Now that sounds pretty awesome.  Getting to see them so close, and feed them, out in the open is not something everyone gets to experience.

I was going to say, "Someone went to the Zoo this weekend." But I see from your comments that you captured this guy at the Aquarium.

Great shot no matter where you took the photograph my friend.

We saw two Bald Eagles fly over our house this afternoon!  They seemed to be chasing a third bird away.  It was an amazing sight.

Great birds but they are scary to get close to.  Big beaks.

Gene: Their beaks are massive, but that's one of the things that makes so great.

Jim and Maria, great photo. I saw some bald eagles in Alaska a few years ago, but couldn't get a picture.

I have never seen a bald eagle. I was told one was living on the other side of the lake. One day when it warms up I am going to take my camera to see if I can find him.  The fellow in the picture looks so proud.

Jim, great shot, although I of course would have loved to see it fly out in the wild instead of being caged :-)

What a beautiful bird. When I lived in Iowa I lived on the Iowa River and the Bald Eagles and Hawks were all over the river in the winter. I loved watching the babies too.

Thanks for the picture. It brought back memories.

What a beautiful and elegant bird the bald eagle is.  Every now and then I have had the great pleasure of being in the company of one.  There is a man who has brought him to a couple of functions that I attended.  He is huge and awe-inspiring.  Your photo captured a very inquisitive mood on that one!

How very beautiful, although I think he's wondering why you won't let him come out and play.
