Every year I eagerly await the first signs of spring.  After this winter with its record snowfall in Charlottesville VA I am particularly ready for the winter season  to be over.  Much of the snow in my yard has melted over the past two days and uncovered daffodils that had been starting to grow under the snowcover.  Even though we are faced with the possibility of more winter weather in the next few days, these brave daffodils make me believe that spring is actually not too far off.

With  the advent of spring the Charlottesville real estate market will heat up.  This season is typically our busiest time of year and we still have a lot of inventory on the market for buyers to take advantage of.

Pam, Here in our area we are just a little bit ahead of Spring in your area.  We have had a lot more Winter than normal but the birds are going crazy and the trees are in the bud stage.  Some of the peach trees are in full bloom I hope they don't get another freeze.

Pam - spring may not be showing in our gardens here yet but it is showing in the real estate market.

We've had daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths here for a month now. Of course, they are in the grocery stores. Does that count? LOL

I'm laughing at Jim because the only reason why the daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths are in the stores instead of my yard is because he won't let me store the bulbs in the refrigerator during the fall and winter.
