Hollywood Florida has changed over the last few years. Downtown Hollywood is becoming one of the best places for people to come out and mingle. With over 50 restaurants and cafes and to the nightclubs that offer a variety of live music such as  jazz ,R &B, and Latin.

Take a walk on a sunny day in historic downtown Hollywood and you find yourself visiting 6 blocks of different types of boutiques, shops, art galleries and many excellent restaurants along the brick-lined sidewalks along Hollywood Boulevard.

South Florida's best kept secret for shopping and entertaiment is right here on the pedestrian friendly streets of downtown Hollywood.

Minutes away you will find the Hollywood Beach pedestrian boardwalk. The Boardwalk has undergone a complete renovation. there...you will find more than two miles of open road enjoyment. You might even see a few walkers, runners, bicyclists and rollerbladers.

Enjoy the low key sandy white beaches of Hollywood Florida. If you come out early in the day you can catch the beautiful views of the calm oceans and all of the cruise ships that dock over the horizon.

If you were to cross over to the west side of A1A you will find a different perspective of a premium location. By having the beach on the east side as well as the the awesome west side with views of the intercoastal waters.

Come visit the city of Hollywood today.

Missy,

I was actually down there searching for a condo for my client. We found one and placed an offer on it. We were down there looking but I decided to take advantage of the great day to shoot a few photos of the area.

Sally,

It is beautiful beach areas and it gets people in the mood.

Thesa,

I'll swim out there and tell the ship to wait for you...hurry!

Melody,

The waters here are so blue...one of the things that attracted me to move to south Florida.

Jeff,

I thought it would be a good piece for people looking for an up and coming area close to the beaches.

Ray,

They draw the consumers to you and it also helps if they like what you write...thankfully I have received some rewards from it other than my interest myself.

Suzanne,

Shopping is good.nice entertainment... Beaches are even better!

George,

You can lounge while your wife shops...take her for a bite to eat at one of the restaurants on the main drag.

Gena,

because it is so hot and humid that I thought you wanted it to keep you warm...no cool breezes at this time...maybe a towel.

Neal,ok...I was thinking that your sand was so different I wouldn't need anything to lay down on...got it now. Wrong choice of words on my part. It is so beautiful there and the beach looks like it might be like walking on flour. The Caribbean was like walking on flour and of course our beaches over hear are very rocky...so I just love soft sand.

Gena,

The sand is soft and white but when you mentioned a chair and blanket..I did not think about you using it on the sand as well as the chair:)

Gena,

Here is what I might do for you. Looks like my deal was accepted so I'll be in the area more when I get there I will either email you a closer photo of the sand or I will mail some to you in a plastic bag:) They redid a lot of the beach area because of all the hurricanes we had recently so the sand is great just to rub your toes in.

Neal doesn't live in Hollywood.  But I do.  So I thank you Missy, Celeste, Thesa, Melody, Jeff, Suzanne, George and Gina for your wonderful comments.

My office is right in front of the red car at the intersection (ie, if Neal turned 20 degrees left, you'd see it) and I live 1 mile from those ocean shots.  Yes, I feel your envy (geez Tchak, how about some modesty?)

:-)
