Green Building

Many builders are going green. The energy savings is great but the housing costs are going through the roof where this hass strated. I think the technology needs to improve so costs can come down before we start requiring this in new homes.  Austin, Tx recently had a bill that was perposed that resale homes had to pass energy star type ratings before they could be sold. Can you imagine if this passed.  Many people would never be able to sell their home. It would have to be torn down.

Going green is really great for the environment, but you are right it costs a lot!
