The beloved Theodor Seuss Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss) was born on March 2, 1904, in Springfield, Massachusetts. He would have been 105 today.
My kids read his whimsical, fabulous stories almost every day! He was really a creative genius.

We loved and read all of Dr. Seuss books. He also shares a birthday with my son Phillip, who is 20 years old today!! Happy Birthday!

Jason...what a fun time for kids of all ages. We adopted our son when he was 41/2, loved the Cat in the Hat & tried to get as many hats on his head at one time as was possible. If not for Dr Seuss and Clifford-The Red Dog, I don't think that he would have learned to read as easily as he did. Brings back some fun memories. [he is 33]. Good post and thanks

Thanks for your comments. Dr. Suess is definitely loved. My daughter's school even had a special Dr. Suess-themed lunch yesterday in the cafeteria.
