The Geneva Motor Show is one of the largest annual autoshows in the world.

As always there are some great new models and concept cars unveiled. I've haven't attended the show (yet), but I like to see what's happening on their website. Hew are a few of the vehicles on display that really caught my eye.

Peugeot SR1 Concept

This isn't a Maserati or Aston Martin but the Peugeot SR1 Concept car.

I think it's a particularly exciting design from the French car manufacturer.

Ferrari 599 GTB Hybrid

Ferrari states that it is is approaching the development of hybrid technology without losing sight of the performance traits and driving involvement that have always exemplified its cars.

Ferrari also says that the 599 GTB Hybrid is evidence the company is taking more and more eco-compatible decisions.

Mercedes Benz F800 Hybrid

The Mercedes F800 Hybrid Concept has a lithium-ion battery pack which can be charged from regular household current or charging station.

The concept's hybrid powertrain provides 0-60 acceleration in 4.7 seconds with top speed limited to 155 mph. Access to the Mercedes-Benz F800 Style concept is provided by conventional hinged front doors and cool new rear pivot-and-slide doors that open backwards.

Mercedes has introduced a new safety system called Traffic Jam Assistant that is capable of automatically following the vehicle in front of it.

The Mercedes F800 is not only a concept hybrid car, but also a preview of the future Mercedes CLS design.

Karen - I agree .... that particular Peugeot is a sexy and sophiticated looking car ... but since Peugeot is no longer available in the United States we'll just have to admire it when we visit Europe (or South America).

I'm partial to Mercedes Benz so I'll opt for the F-800.  Stewart, is this the type of thing that if you have to ask about the price you can't afford it LOL  ;-)  -- I'd ask about the prices, but that would mean I'll spoil my dreams!!
