I have no idea what the real name is for this but I call it PURPLE SEA GRASS.

It's planted all around my neighborhood of Beacon's Reach in Pine Knoll Shores adding a wonderful touch of color during the winter when most of our flowers are not blooming. It is as soft to the touch as it looks.

Isn't it perfect for Lent?
