Moose Run: Waterville Valley Resort's last subdivision
Moose Run
Mark Twain once said, "Buy land, they're not making it anymore."  That is certainly the case at Waterville Valley, New Hampshire.

You drive through eight miles of National Forest, along the banks of the energetic Mad River, to get to Waterville Valley.  Tucked in the White Mountains, this pedestrian-friendly village is comprised of just 500 acres of privately owned land and is completely surrounded by National Forest.  Waterville Valley is like an island in the middle of the forest, and that creates a permanent limited supply of land.  Unlike in other communities, there isn’t another 25, 40, or 100 acres right down the road that someone will develop next.  What you see in Waterville Valley on the valley floor is all there is.

Moose Run is the last - the final - lower density single-family homesite subdivision to be developed in Waterville Valley by the resort’s master developer.  Construction began in early 2005 and most of the 21 homesites initially released were sold within weeks.  In late 2009, the final homesites at Moose Run were released for sale.  A total of 28 lots have been sold, 12 high quality homes have been constructed, and another home will be underway shortly.  There are just FOUR homesites left at Moose Run.

What makes Moose Run so popular with buyers?

Each of the lots at Moose Run offer exceptional mountain views and enjoy an envious in-the-village location just a short walk to Town Square.  The multi-use "Criterion Trail" passes through Moose Run making it easy to step into your snowshoes or cross-country skis and head into the 770,000-acre White Mountain National Forest, which also borders the subdivision.  All the infrastructure is her - paved roads, municipal water and sewer, and underground power, telephone and cable television - brought to the edge of each lot.

Check out these photos of who your neighbors could be at Moose Run (these homes are not for sale).
