Ines, I have a question. Although I think this is an intersting building, do you have problems with flat roofs there? We have flat roofs of the southwest looking houses but they really have a slight pitch to them. But in Florida I think about heavy rains and wonder if this is a good idea?

what a sweet looking property!  SO pretty, lots of design and appeal ..Neat as a pin, and contemporary.  Did you have this staged?  It sure looks like it!  Nice to have you back!

Dena - that is an excellent question.  Flat roofs are not really flat, there is a minimal slope that needs to occur by code for obvious drainage issues - with modern roofing membranes, water is not a problem here in South Florida (hope that answered the question).

Katrina - thanks for the welcome.  The house was decorated professionally by an interior designer and the owner has great taste.  As much as I would love to take credit, it wasn't me! :)

What a wonderful presentation.

I'd love to know how you were able to accomplish the drop shadow on the pictures. I've been wanting to use the effect for a while on AR.

Ines - great presentation of the listing. You should add it to the listing group as well, for which you'd need to use the address as the title - maybe a "sister" post.

I like that the interior furnishings are consistent with the architectural style. It's easier to sell a home when the style and furnishings match (though Victorian homes can look great with contemporary furnishings, too).

Sharon - I will do that!  Thanks for the idea ( I hope people don't get offended for the duplicate post).  As for the furniture, it's funny you mention that.  Antique furniture is really not my cup of tea, but I love a good piece here and there.  I do think it's crucial for furniture to be simple and "style-less" if possible when a house is on the market.

As for this one - it is perfect and the furniture does match the architecture and there is a Zen theme throughout.  I do LOVE Victorian and traditional homes dressed with contemporary furniture and modern classics!

Beautiful home and really great presentation.  I can see why Gena had a difficult time ranking.  I also liked the way your other listings scroll at the bottom.  I hope I can learn how to do all of these techniques in time.  Congratulations!

Ann - Those carnivals are so much fun and it really helps us tweak our marketing efforts.  This is a great property and fun to put together. Thanks!

Barbara - thank you!

Donna - the scrolling listings is a widget from v-flyer - all you do is insert the code that v-flyers gives you (and there are all sorts of formats to choose from....like the one on the right column of my AR blog page)
