Winter in the community of Hemlock Farms, in Pike County, is a wonderful place to be.  Besides taking in the frosted snow covered grounds, there are plenty of winter sports such as sledding, ice skating and cross country skiing which is my favorite.  There is a 3 mile loop to ski or hike and Hemlock Farms offers discount ski tickets at the office.  All year round, Hemlock Farms offers a vast amount of activities such as the top of the line fitness center, tennis courts, indoor pool, 3 outdoor pools, clubhouse, Bingo, art classes, karate classes, library, and nature classes just to mention some.  Hemlock Farms appeals to all ages as they offer a book club, landscaping club, summer swim team/lessons and Public Safety.  You can be as busy or bored as you want!  Hemlock Farms encompasses 3 school districts such as the Wallenpaupack School District www.wallenpaupack.org, Deleware Valley School District www.dvsd.org and East Stroudsburg School District www.esasd.net.  Hemlock Farms is easily accessible to Route 84 which makes it convenient for commuters and we are approximately 15 miles from Lake Wallenpaupack which is the 2nd largest lake in Pennsylvania.  If you have any questions at all, I would be glad to help as I am a proud resident of Hemlock Farms - www.hfca.com.
