31% have virtual tours
There are 3,370 active listings priced at under $500,000
17% have virtual tours
A 'virtual tour' can be classified as any of the following:
- A simple flash slideshow, such as RealEstateShows, VisualTours, etc.
- A 360 degree, spin around tour
- A full motion video tour
Prices for these range from $125 per year for an unlimited number of tours (a simple slideshow) to up to $300 for a full, high definition video tour.
There are a record number of properties on the market. Gas prices are hovering at $3 per gallon. And yet, less than ONE in FIVE listings in Hillsborough County have ANY type of virtual tour listed with NNEREN.
Buyers love virtual tours. Sellers love virtual tours. Why is it that REALTORS don't? By offering a virtual/ video tour of some sort on your listing in this market should be the 'ace in the hole' on a listing appointment.
What are these 80% of REALTORS doing to market a property for your customers? Just inputting data into MLS? Just putting a sign in the grass? Just holding open houses that nobody attends? Just running ads in newspapers that nobody reads anymore?
I find these numbers, although they are up slightly from a year ago, pretty amazing. There are so many incredible tools at the disposal of successful agents for marketing homes ONLINE where CUSTOMERS are, and yet, so few are taking advantage.
I don't get it.
As a potential buyer, which of these presentations would get you excited about a property?
