Lenders - Make or break a deal!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Luxury Homes 0546263

I have been selling real estate here in the DFW area now for 6 years.  Since all the changes have come about in this "new" market, I want to shutter when the buyer wants to use their own lender.  For the most case this turns out ok, but I see a whole lot less issues when they use mine.  I represent the sellers on a deal right now that I have been trying to get closed.  The buyer is using "their own lender" and the deal has been nothing but problems.  It's one thing after another and then another.  It sure makes a seller uneasy and makes my job tougher.  It's hard to reassure my seller when I have no control over what's going on.

I am an agent that thinks out of the box to get deals done.  Always have been.  Now I am just crossing my fingers on this one.  Happy house selling!             http://debbiesellsdfw.com/

Glad to hear we are not the only ones that run into this. 1 lender says yes we can do it that way, no problem, then another lender will tell a buyer, no that's wrong you can't do that. We all have our preferred lenders that we use and there is a reason for that... They get the job done !!  Good Luck on this one.

I love my lender.  They underwrite and process in house and it makes it way easier.  Everytime another lender is used we get headaches...quite literally.

Yes count me in!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that runs into this!

Buyers can use any lender they want but we also recommend our lender to them.

Thanks,
