This evening, if all goes to plan with my busy day, I am heading out to be part of the "First Active Rain Open House".

Out of all the possible attendees tonight I imagine I have the least amount of travel time. Just a short hop up the beltway (I695) and I should be in time for the festivities.
And who is coming to dinner?
It seems that the AR Goddess, Lenn Harley has RSVP'd. I finally get to meet The Dr who makes house calls, AR Ambassador C Tann-Starr is making the trip from New York and of course the lady of the hour, Margaret Rome to mention a few. The Maryland crab cakes will be flying out of the kitchen and the conversation will be memorable.
To be honest it's not the free meal that is enticing me away from bath time and snuggles with my favorite 3 year old, not even the chance to see the who's who of Active Rain on my doorstep- Margaret Rome PERSONALLY called me and invited me to attend.
Note to self- take the time to call agents I do business with and speak to them directly when I want them to attend my Brokers Open's. Taking that extra step could make the difference between a successful event and an empty house with too much catered food to eat myself. Who can resist a PERSONAL invitation?
I am sure on Monday at the Open House at 2716 Spring Hill Road, Greenspring Valley-Owings Millsit will be an impressive gathering where even more cyber faces will be seen in person.
