The warm weather finally came today to West Palm Beach in South Florida just in time for the Autism Speaks walk. It was a great day and the turnout was very large as some estimates were that over 5,000 supporters came out to walk. The music was playing and speakers spoke to the large crowds. Bob and Suzzane Wright were two speakers as they are the founders of the autism science and advocacy organization Autism Speaks.
Aside from raising awareness about autism, the walk also served as a fundraiser and petition drive aimed at urging the passage of the Autism Treatment Acceleration Act. April 1 is World Autism Day
