It It Me?  Or Is The Sunshine Affecting Everyone?

I can't believe we've started having a few days of sunshine in a row here in San Francisco.  It has been very enjoyable not just to help the open house traffic for my listings but also for the psyche.  I didn't know what was going on with me.  Actually, I did.  We have had so much rain since the beginning of 2010 that is conspicuously coincided with a dismal overall feeling.  Most people know me as an upbeat guy...and I am.  But I have to admit that the weather was really getting on my nerves.

Beautiful Skies As the Sun Sets for the Day!

From an article I just read online, "There's finally good news about sunshine!  It is healthy for you!"  Kareen Rose from the article "The affects of sunshine on health."  The article points out that vitamin D is available from a little sunshine daily. I guess I must be missing vitamin D in my diet.

The good thing is that the water levels have risen and the concerns about water shortages have at least been somewhat abated.  I know that there has been "weather" everywhere in the USA this winter.  I really should not be one to complain since we get lots of rain and NO SNOW which I'm sure is a bigger pain in the tuckus.

Anyway, I have notice my mood improving.  I bet it has something to do with the beautiful sunshine that we've had over the last few days.  Everything looks so much nicer.  The fields are green (there are a few fields left in San Francisco) the trees are blooming, the hills are green.  It all looks beautiful.  The streets are cleaner.  All that rain washed much dirt away.

Have you started seeing some more sunshine in your neck of the woods?  How has it affected you?

It's not just you Frank.  We've had a few very lovely days up north (in the Pacific NW) and it's revigorating!  Unfortunately. the weather is supposed to cool, and rain for the week.  But this weekend was so lovely.  I'm still very upbeat as a result.

That is a great photo and I agree that a few days of sunshine chnages attitudes for the better and sure improves open house attendance (unless it gets so warm that everyone runs off to the beach.

It's been cloudy down her the past few days....

The sun is out in Kansas City, Frank! We are loving it! No more scraping ice off the windshield and shoveling the sidewalk.  It's been in the 50's for 3 days in a row and everybody is happy.  Showings have doubled; open houses are full; the birds are singing; life is good.

Frank...Beautiful sunset!  We have plenty of sunshine, but it is shining on plenty of snow - lol.  The sunshine makes me feel good, but the snow not so good!!
