Last week, I spent some time visiting with a bride to be.  She has been very busy planning for her wedding next month.  Every detail has been attended to.  Flowers have been chosen, music has been selected and now she is having fun attending showers and other pre-wedding events.

She shared with me that she is registered for all the typical household goods that make a house a home; linen, china and crystal.  I have no doubt the home will be as lovely as she is.

When I asked her where she and her groom would be living after the ceremony, she was stumped.  It seems that detail had not been worked out yet.  They have been so busy planning for their big day, they haven't begun to decide where they will call home.

While you have been busy planning, you may have missed hearing about the available tax credit for first time homebuyers.  So here is what you need to know; first time buyers purchasing a home before April 30, 2010, may qualify for a tax credit equal to 10% of the purchase price up to $8,000. There are income limits to qualify. The limit for an individual is $125,000 and for a married couple it's $225,000.
