By
Real Estate Agent with Ellicott City Clarksville Howard County Maryland Real Estate 535650

"First annual rise across much of Baltimore area since 2005 occurs as first-time buyers seize on tax credit and falling prices." the Baltimore Sun reports on Sunday March 7th 2010

Tis the season to take advantage of the first time home-buyer credit of $8000 and the long time home-owner credit of $6500. Add that to historically low interest rates and falling house prices and the market is hot.

You must be under contract by April 30th to take advantage.

Hi Ellie.  Having lived in your area for 35 years, I continue to enjoy updates.  It sounds like there is good news in real estate there.

Nice to see the positive press.  If you are looking for a place to live, it's hard to imagine conditions aligning much better.

It is amazing to me that a media outlet actually printed something positive, there has been so much negative press of the real estate industry this is a very welcome sight, thanks
