No one other than you will better know the number of bedrooms and bathrooms your family will require. If you are very specific about the location of your property, then you have to clearly point it out to the realtor. Sometimes it so happens that you may not find the right home of your choice in the location you prefer. In such a situation, you must be prepared to make a few amendments to your requirement.
Hence it is essential that you have all your specifications of your dream home before you visit your realtor. This will narrow down your search for your dream home. If not, you will end up visiting 50 homes in locations all around the city, not liking even a single home! When you are capable of giving a statement to your realtor saying your dream home must have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an attic and a fireplace in a locality close to schools, your workplace and a shopping area; your realtor will be more than happy to serve you with all his commitment for you have reduced his search for your dream home by almost 75 %.
