Hi! I am new to this group so if my pictures or post don't fit let me know.  Her are a few pictures of some Axis deer that feed through our yard each day.  There are also a few White Tail Deer that live in our back yard with an occasional antilope.  They like the water sprinkler in the summer time and of course they love the flowers and fruit trees.

I live in the Texas Hill Country and we have so many different animals here, Elk, Moose, many types of deer, camels, buffalo and even Oreo Cows.  The one picture posted here is a Chrome Steer he is used for a road sign to advertise a sculpture ranch that uses just junk to create everything on exhibit there.

I would guess with that many deer wandering through that you don't have many flowers that survive?

Don, it looks like my backyard. They come in to watch me eat breakfast every morning. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Cindy, You sure have that right.  We do plant some flowers that they will not eat and we also enjoy the animals.

Ok, I just have to say this.  That is a LOT of deer going through your yard!  I'm guessing, too, that you don't have any type of vegetable garden in your yard either, do you Don?  Great shots!

Great photos, love the deer photos. Wondering are they all fawns or is this a type of spotted deer?

Rick, We enjoy the deer in our yard and this whole area has so many types of deer and other wildlife that it does add to the joy of living here.

Mary, Thanks for the comments.  The deer pictured are AXIS deer originally imported into this part of Texas many years ago but now they are free roaming as or other imported wildlife.  Of course we have a large heard of Texas White Tail and this the Texas Hill Country has always been a hot spot for hunting.

Emcee. You are so right no garden to be found in our yard or even the neighborhood.  However we can grow some up on our back porch area, they don't come up on it at least so far.

Debra, The Axis deer are real common in a large part of Texas, we do have mule deer as well as white tail.  The Axis deer have fawns two times a year where the white tail only breed one time per year.  we also have a lot of buffalo in this area of Texas.
