Wake County, the heart of the Research Triangle, was recently ranked the No. 1 healthiest county in North Carolina, according to a report published by the University of Wisconsin at www.countyhealthrankings.org/north-carolina/overall-rankings 

 

Education, jobs, availability of healthy foods, and access to high-quality health care were all factors that helped put Wake at the top.

 

This is just ONE MORE reason why the Triangle area is a wonderful place to live.

Well it's no surprise here that Wake County is the healthiest. There are doctors and treatment facilities almost everywhere you turn! This is such a fantastic thing to know about Wake County, and in turn the town of Cary and the surrounding area. What a great marketing factor, I'm sure people would love to hear this if they're interested in a local home!

I was a little surprised at first to hear this, after about half the band was sick last year thanks to swine flu, but what Lindsey says is true. There are so many doctors around every corner. If you can't get to the one you normally use, I'm sure the one next door would be able to treat you!
