4 Comments on Pausing to admire the Spring array on a Southern Gulf Island....
Li:
Great picture and the islands are beautiful. I heard once that Salts Spring had the highest concentration of men with ponytails! Still true?
Ty
Li,
You live in a special place that's for sure.
Li,
I lookat the map and see where you live...then look eastward and see where Maine is. Now I have to Google..."Why is the west coast of Canada so warm?" I don't know why I don't know this....lack of extensive geography in grade school I guess. Your water is not warm like the gulf stream...
Appreciated the comments! I do live in a great area, Terry, as you know...the entire Coast, though, enjoys this allure. Ah, Ty, I think the Islands still catch the title of pony tail (male) paradise...it's that old hippie ethic! Hmmm...no Gulf Stream, true, but don't we have a Pacific equivalent, Steve? We are this great little micro-climate, and the U.S. San Juans are a part of it, too.
