Spring is in the air so spring forward this Sunday!

When it gets close to the time to but the clock ahead I am truly excited because I know the season of rebirth is just around the corner.  I have a true appreciation for the seasons because when I was younger I never saw such dramatic changes as I do now in the Hudson Valley.

So this Sunday March 14th please remember to set your clock ahead, and if you have not check your batteries lately in safety items such as smoke detectors this would be a good time.

Steve I feel the same way.

Maria yes I did from photos I took.  The shots of the flowers were from my garden.

Ralph I know just what you mean.

Hi Jennifer.  Wow, it's that time already?  Now the east coast will be 6 hours ahead of me instead of 5 which makes it harder to link up.  At least I can still read your AR posts without a problem.

Aloha!

Jennifer, Thanks for posting this I was wondering if it was this week or not and you saved me the trouble of looking it up.  I am so excited to have more daylight hours.  Gives me the illusion of carefree summers.

Jennifer:  It is going to be so tough to do this.  I enjoyed that extra hour of sleep sooo much last Fall... and I really do NOT want to give it back.  ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I never understood why we have to do this, but since it must be, thank you for the reminder!

This will be better for the dog, he never changes when he wants to eat, LOL. And it seems to be too early.

Richard it can be difficult interacting with us here in the east.  But now and then we do connect.

Samatha I crave the sunlight, I think it put us all in a better mood.

Karen easy come easy go :)

Andrea I know the reasoning behind it but I still don't get it.  I heard it was intended to help golfers; so many stories.

Norma I am so looking forward to spring, just watching stuff pop out of the ground is so awesome.

Clason I arranged the photos in that order to get the viewers thinking of spring and summer activities.

Deb Thank you.

Hi Jennifer, what a lovely slide show!  I'm looking forward to Spring and seeing the flowers again, although I must admit, I don't like switching to Daylight Savings, it messes with my inner time clock! LOL

Jennifer, Changing the batteries in smoke alarms the same time as changing the clocks makes sense.  I recently changed all of ours when one went off with an electricity flash and then would not quit. We do always put the date we last changed them and we were at 14 months when I changed them.
