This guy has had quite a rough day don't you think? It's really hard for me to judge this because there are days where I might pass by him in virtually the same position at various times throughout the day. Did he simply find this position so exceptional that it has become his signature pose for the day. Maybe he's playing a game and everytime I move he sprints back to this spot to make me think he's not up to his typical "no good" behavior. Really, I know that could never be the case. What makes these cats so tired and yet in an instant they can turn on their full power and become enthusiastically alert. It's not in the Meow Mix I'm sure. I am curious but not as much as they can be?
Kerry, if this isn't relaxation mode I don't know what is. There does seem to be a slight smile though. Thanks for the comment!
It can get tiring being cute and cuddly. Not that I am speaking from personal experience, it is just what my cat told me!
Mark, we can't figure out how they got so spoiled. I know it couldn't have been my doing. Thanks!
Hah! If you only had a kitty cam installed you might find out. But I'm not so sure I'd want to know!
Patricia, you're probably right. This boy is a bad kitty at times, we never know what his thought process is. Thanks for the coment!
Hi Kevin, Now that is one comfortable kitty. I had to really look at the picture for a minute, because I couldn't quite figure out where his head was. I think that each time you go to look at him, he goes to his look at me the pretty little kitty position. He is pretty irresistable, you know.
Sandy, this is "Nitro" named so for his volatile behavior. He can be petted and purring so nicely one moment then SHAZAM, he goes ballistic on you. He was found as a baby in the engine compartment of a running pickup truck while filling up at a local gas station. That driver didn't know he was there but his crying was heard and we became his rescuers. I have to smack the hood of my Corvette before I head out because he still likes to hang out in the engine bay there also. Damaged goods, but irresistable nonetheless. Thanks!
Funny . . . that's exactly how I felt on Friday, too! It's a Cat's life, I tell ya!
Deena, it's like he didn't quite heve enough energy left to make the full leap. I hope you're well rested now and can make it to this Friday unscathed. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Tagrid - He does not take instruction well so I would doubt that although there is some spine lengthening going on for sure. Thanks!
John - We've been both dog and cat people over the years also. I've tried but he doesn't get the concept of playing Frisbee with me. I have no idea why!
