The Sporty Agent!

That is what I can be described as.  At least that's what you might say once you see a few pics of me recently playing basketball in the Oracle Arena, the home of the Golden State Warriors.

I find that keep physically fit helps me in my business and overall in my life.  I never wanted to allow myself to get out of shape, and have been able to maintain very good condition for most of my adult life.  The key has been involvement in sports and a membership to a gym.

Because I participate in basketball competition and continue to play tennis I am motivated to take extra steps to prepare for my time on the courts with extra training.  I run as well as do weight lifting and stretching to help me be more fit for competition.  I noticed that once I commited to being on a team I was more motivated to sharpen my skills to be more effective.  Hence, I would have a great purpose for the workouts beside good health.

Ready to pop my jumper!

It's all a lot of fun.  My glory days are over...execpt in my mind.  I played on an NBA court and made some NBA shots, grabbed some NBA rebounds, made some NBA assists, and won some NBA games.  The imagination can be so entertaining.  LOL

Good for you.  Steady physical exercise is critical for a stress-free life.

I run three mornings a week for 3 miles. I hike in the Cascades most evey weekend and I try to walk anywhere I'm headed that is less than a mile. Always after more than my share of oxygen gives me energy I didn't have as an overweight 40 year old.

I gave up playing full court basketball when I was 31 and was playing with a bunch of 18-20 year olds.  They kicked my butt, and I realized my time on the court was over.  More power to you!  I exercise Monday-Friday at the gym, and am still in pretty good shape for an old fart, but basketball is history for me.

Bob,  That is what I thought about B'ball.  I've surprised myself that I can still play effectively.  Of course the morning after does present it's challenges.  LOL

I go for a daily walk and still play tennis, although I might have to give up tennis soon. Too much pounding on the knees, ankles, elbows, and wrists.
