Dutchess County NY 2009 stats for properties over $1,000,000

In Dutchess County during 2009  sixteen properties valued over $1,000,000 closed according to the data Dutchess County NY properties over $1000000from the Mid-Hudson Multiple Listing Service.  This data reflected only those properties listed on the MLS.

  • The least expensive property sold for  $ 1,050,000, a 4913 square foot contemporary on 48.8 acres. This house sits on a hill and has panoramic views of the Catskill Mountains.
  • The Most expensive sale was $6,000,000, a compound with guest house, carriage house and an 1830 colonial, pool and stream. Real horse property with  stable and paddocks on 252.43 acres
  • Of the 16 properties sold, 7 were in the Town of Washington, 3 in Clinton, 2 in Amenia, 1 in Beacon, 1 in Pawling, 1 in Rhinebeck and 1 in Union Vale.

To be in that price range, I don't think that it is a lot the Days on the market that these properties take to get sold :P   good info !

Ray At that price at times it does take much longer to get the closing.  It all depends on the property some will go almost as soon as they hit the market.
