It may be raining where you are, but not at Waterville Valley ski resort!

The snow starts as you drive up the access road to the ski area. One inch has fallen so far on the mountain, and more is forecasted!  48 trails plus all 5 glades, terrain parks and Exhibition's Superpipe are open.

Today is the last event of the Junior Freestyle Olympics at Waterville Valley - the dual moguls.  This is a great day to head to the slopes AND to watch some amazing freestyle athletes - and future Olympians?! - in person.

Waterville Valley's base depth is 20-36" with all freestyle terrain, tree skiing and bump fields open.  Get the full mountain report right here.  32 kms of cross country trails are open.  Nordic skiers can get the latest info from Mike Seeger's Director's Diary right here.

Planning ahead...St. Paddy's Day may be worth playing hooky for.  Waterville Valley will be sharing the green with $17 lift tickets on March 17. And it wouldn't be St. Patrick's Day without Guinness.  There will be Guinness specials all day long at Buckets Restaurant in the ski area Base Lodge.

And planning even further ahead...On April Fool's Day (April 1) you can ski and ride for JUST $1!  NO FOOLIN'!
