One of the benefits of living in Southern Colorado is the wide variety of fishing. I recently met Nick Ross a Fly Fishing Guide and Instructor. Nick and his friend Zachary were getting ready to go out to one of the lower lakes just below the Pueblo Lake. They told me you can catch a variety of fish including Bass, Trout and Wiper. Nick fishes all over Colorado but really enjoys the Gunnison area.

You get to do all of the fun stuff.  I'm jealous.  Can we put this on the list of stuff to do when I finally get to visit Colorado?

Okay you got me on this one I had to google.  A Wiper is apparently a cross between two types of bass; and it grows quickly; kind of like a Tulip Poplar LOL.  Well not really.  Anyway this sounds like fun, fishing instead of working 24/7 no? And a beautiful photo indeed!

Hmmm - I'll know what happens if you disappear for a few days :=)

Carole, I'd be passing out cards the whole time too! You can bet these guys got biz cards.

Stephanie, you are coming for a visit when? We'll call Marianna, Derek, Jennifer, Joanne, Jessica and Kristal and make it a party and I'll show you the Locke Mt. property. And you thought I forgot.......: )

I've always wanted to see fly fishing in person, it really is pretty amazing.  Nice picture by the way....I almost didn't recognize you.

Thank Ines, I was recently told that I look younger in person and that the picture of me in the pink shirt wasn't flattering. I don't like this one, it will just have to due for now.

Fly fishing is fun to watch, I don't understand it really. Looks like a strange kind of aerobics.

Your little fly fisherman is cute.  LOL  Private fishing lessons?  What the heck!  The rest of the world get's a personal trainer.  When you live in Colorado you get a private fishing coach?

Nick is a private fishing coach - and young enough to be my son!

Dena, now fishing that is something that I can get into, I never catch anything, but I find it very relaxing.

However, unlike Chris the fishing guy doesn't do anything for me ....... LOL

George, Nick Ross likes the sport of fishing and rarely if ever keeps the fish.
