Yesterday, while driving around Big Oak Lake, in Spring Hill, TN yesterday, I came across this female wood duck. This was a rare find, as most of their habitat in Nashville and Brentwood has been displaced by development. Thankfully, I had my telephoto lens on camera as I crept up behind a blind and squeezed off a few shots.
