"O'America, I Can Hear You Calling Me".....A Gift of Music to My ActiveRain Friends and Famly

I had the pleasure last night to hear this most magnificent music and it touched my heart. My first thoughts were to share this with you and it is my fervant hope that this will touch your heart as well.

I have long been a fan of Celtic Women and they are coming to San Diego for a concert on May 7th at the San Diego Civic Center and this song," O'America ",  I am assured will be on the program.

The concert will feature their newest CD " Songs of the Heart".

We have much in the way of wonderful music in this grand country of ours and we have much to be grateful for.

Please enjoy this magnifcent song "O'America" that was dedicated by the Celetic Women to the America we all love and cherish.

Hi Debe, I am sure they will be . They are starting a new National tour. Hope you get to see them. Their concerts are spectacular.

William - What a beautiful song!  I love the Celtic Women and was introduced to them last year while I was scanning the channels and came upon one of their performances on PBS.  They take my breath away with their incredible voices and music.

We all need to fill our lives with the beauty that surrounds us. At times when things seem confusing or difficult to scale, I resort to the sounds that fill me with beauty and joy. I especially love sounds like this when capturing my photos. One of best little treasures in life is my iPhone ( iPod ) and things just seem a little better to me and I reflect that in my life and especially in my attitude.

Glad you liked this. We share one more thing in common :-) I think I have some ancestors that were also Irish or had some Irish in them. Such a small country and so many in the world with Irish in their history. These Irish must have really gotten around a good bit back when, lol.

So glad so many have enjoyed this. Their musical talent and performance style is so simple and yet so pleasing. There are 5 Women, 4 that sing and one that plays the violin. A great group to be sure.
