Wake Up!

By
Real Estate Agent with COLDWELL BANKER TOMLINSON

It was VERY hard getting up this morning!  Oh Boy, was it hard!  I did my part because of Daylight Savings.  I woke up yesterday and worked on changing all the clocks, made sure I arrived on time at my appointments and enjoyed the extra hour of sunlight!  What I didn't do was tell myself that I would need a very loud alarm clock to get me going this morning!!

alarm clock

I hit the snooze button about 4 times!  That was a big mistake!!  I jumped out of bed, rushed around like a crazy woman, and ran to work to get there on time.  Whew!  I'm wondering what tomorrow morning will bring?  I know I will set my alarm to ring VERY LOUDLY!!

Glad to know it wasn't just me.  It will take the body a little while to adjust.

Hi Olga, Oh, you were not alone. This is the week of the year that is quite an adjustment getting used to the time change.  I don't like the new mornings, but I love the longer evenings.  It doesn't get dark so early. Hooray!  Hope you don't have to hit that snooze too many times tomorrow.

Hi Olga ~ I came home and took a nap after my 8:30 am appointment. Couldn't have made it through the day otherwise.

We only have two clocks that have to be reset, and both of those are in the kitchen: microwave and stove. All the others set themselves automatically.

VB...it was a hard one.  Still feeling the effects today, but better I think!  Hope you're well.

Sandy!  You're right about the longer evening.  It was awesome having the extra hour of daylight last night.

Liz!  A nap would have been nice!

Jim!  That's great!  The one I almost forgot was the one in my car!  Have a great day!

Hi Olga, I so enjoy the longer evenings especially when I have to go out to meet clients.  An extra hour of daylight is nice.  I am looking forward to those warm summer nights, concerts in the park, etc.

Enjoy the rest of your week~

Denise!  Good Morning!  It is great to have that extra hour of daylight.  The thought of sitting out on the deck until late is nice for sure.  Thanks for your comment and have a great rest of the day!

It's not much fun having to adjust our body clocks to the time change.  I wonder if it be any easier if they did it on a Saturday instead of Sunday.

Hi Irene!  That's a great idea.  Maybe it would give us an extra day to adjust :)!  Thanks for your comment.
