My last report on the housing market in Buffalo Grove provided by RANWC basically said that although the prices are down in Buffalo Grove, we are selling more homes.  The summary of the report which I recently blogged about shows the data and pricing is key in this market  We are in a beauty contest with a price war.  The buyers have plenty to choose from so if your home is going to sell, it will need to finish in the top 5 of homes in the buyers price range. 

Look at the figures below and you can what is actually selling in Buffalo Grove for March. This report covers the number of homes that are active in specific price ranges, days on the market, and the number of months supply that we currently have available. The higher the price range, the longer it is taking to sell.  The average of all the ranges is 6 months of current home inventory in Buffalo Grove.

The one good thing about lower home prices is that sales will inevitably go up. Lets hope the market finds its balance soon!
