The Nations' Cup is held here in Wellington Florida at our Palm Beach International Equestrian Center every year during the Winter Equestrian Festival.

Equestrian teams from all over the world come to Wellington Florida to join in the winter competitions, fun and festivities of our divine Equestrian attractions. 

This year Team Canada won the Nations' Cup.

Nations Cup Wellington Equestrian Festival

Congrats to Team Canada! We love to welcome our Canadian neighbors here in Wellington Florida. A lot of Canadians buy second homes here and now the prices have come down it really makes sense to buy now. 

Riders: Yann Candele, Beth Underhill, Eric Lamaze and Mac Cone were the team players on Team Canada. They walked away with $75,000. Team Canada finished the competition with a total of just five faults. 

Mexico came in second place with 13 faults and Ireland came in third place. Go Ireland! Just in time for St Patrick's Day! The Irish had 29 faults. 

The United States Team finished up in fourth place with 31 faults. Todd Minikus of Loxahatchee, our neighboring town, from Team United States won the fastest time with no faults in the Time First Round format. He won a price of $30,000. 

We have a lot more fun coming up with Battle of the Sexes and other great Equestrian competitions so come on out for the rest of the season which is fast approaching its' finale once again. We have about 4 more weeks and then it is good-bye to lots of friends until next Winter Equestrian Season this coming winter. With as fast as time flies, it will be here once again, before we can blink!

Jon- I did not understand much when I first moved here but my best friend has 5 Polo ponies and all her family plays polo, so she would take me to the matches and teach me about Polo. Then another friend taught me about dressage and jumpers. Since I love to learn this was great experience for me. So sit back, relax and enjoy:) 

LIsa- they will be back:) 

Larry- we have the Nations cup here every year and it is so much fun to watch. We also have Olympian hopefuls competing and training here every winter.
