The Bridge of Lions and the adjacent temporary bridge will be closed to motorist and pedestrian traffic from 9 p.m. today to noon Wednesday, when the rehabilitated Bridge of Lions will be opened to traffic.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured to the State Road 312 bridge.
A public opening ceremony for the rehabilitated Bridge of Lions will be held at the west end of the bridge at 10 a.m. Wednesday, just before the bridge is reopened to vehicle and pedestrian traffic after a four-year renovation project.
