Living here in Northeast Ohio and seeing the fluctuations in weather over the past 6 weeks has had me pretty much praying to mother nature for Spring to arrive. Just a 2 weeks ago it looked like it was here only to be fulled by another 5 days of Winter like cold and now another warm front of sun is moving in.
That brings up another thing what about that Ground Hog day thing... Yes don't get me started but a friend told me the other day that Punxsutawney Phil and those people in Punxsutawney P.A. are so liquored up the night before that big day and that you can go into town and half people there can't remember if that Ground hog saw his shadow or not.
Hey I am not knocking living in this area. Heck it is fun to have all the seasons compared to other parts of the country. It is just like anything else in this wonderful world in that there is always a time when change is good.
On the positive side the home market in the area has shown some Spring arrival. Homes along the lake front are finally selling after being slow for 15 months. Prices in areas such as Avon have shown positive rebounds in price per square foot and there is a requested demand for homes in areas such as Lakewood and Westpark/Kamms area.
Now I sit back and look at wow did i get my kids out in the snow enough this winter, how many sled riding trips di we make? Did I get a chance to touch base wit all my off season clients (who shut down in the Winter)? Did I see that I had pre-Spring home prep was done in the yard and in my home. See now I am wondering where did the season go?
