12 Comments on Wordless Wednesday - Post Olympic Blues
We have all been saying that we miss the excitement of the Olympics.
Sad, drab, damp, dark and grey....very moody picture, definitely the blues.
Good morning Liz,
This photo looks so forlorn and empty..needs the life breathed back into it!
So now that it is all over, what are they going to do with that thing?
Did you get the same blues after Expo '86 when it left town? I remember that very well and I know you got a lot of business and visitors to Vancouver because of it. I just wonder how this was different?
It reminds me of after the Olympics in Atlanta several years ago. Don't worry though, there will be other excitement.
Yup Liz, it's back to real life now. NHL hockey seems so drab and slow by comparison (but then again, I'm a Leafs fan).
... but so many great 'bright' memories to cling to !!!
Cheers Liz !!!
Dear Mrs Liz,
Happy St Patricks Day to you, assuming you know what it is up there and all.
Nutsy
Ayyy we have it here too Stevie -
Hey sheldon - memories are amazing - i went so late in the games that I didn't have time to post all my photos - awh well I have a nice Olympic Photo Album! :-)
Malcolm we still have Luongo - so not all is lost - but anything would be anticlimactic after that!
Mr. Integrity Mortgage - that is true - there is always something else - but nothing like that!
George and Arlene - I don't remember Expo having the same effect - at all!
Eric - it was our Science World before and it will be after! They just hijacked it for a while :-)
Dorie - I thought it looked kind of serene!
Dan- a typical winter day here - but i liked the blues and the reflection
Tim - it's true something like that is a once in a lifetime event :-)
....LOVE the new smiley profile pic :o)
