How to use foriegn language symbols using window alt codes

REALTORS® sometimes need to use foriegn language symbols, this are the codes for window users with and numeric pad on the side of the keyboard. You press and hold Alt and inset the code

Simple, once your are shown how.

Here is how to make the French words and letters. My last name is actually ancient French spelled Backén. It would be pronounced Backain. My ancestrory is Swedish but Napoleon took over Sweden and there were a lot of French names left. My middle name is Orvar. Like some many 3 generation American or Canadian people I have never been to my ancestral land. However, as the other 3 grandparents were born in the USA, I have a strong link down south of the border.

If the accent is facing backward it is called GRAVE the other is called ACUTE
