The short of this is, it will not cost you anything and will help thousands here in our area. If you like to read about the help these folks give then click and it will explain what they do. If you are afraid of giving your e-mail out and being spammed by Pepsi, you will not. Several of us filled this out and didn't check any of the boxes and after a month we have not recieved anything spam or junk mail.
Please click and vote for this very worthy cause. Yes it will ask you to sign up but as long as you don't check any boxes you will not be contacted. Several of us did this a few weeks ago and have not recieved any spam or even an e-mail for Pepsi or the others. This is such a heart wrenching cause and this will go a long way to help and it is FREE.
United Way of Escambia County seeks your help to win a $50,000 grant from Pepsi to provide 2-1-1 to the 10 counties in Northwest Florida. 2-1-1 is like 9-1-1 but it is for health and human services information. This would provide more than 1 million people with 24/7 access to health and human service information and referrals for services such as shelter, food stamps, child care, utility assistance and more. Families in our community are currently served through a United Way program called First Call For Help, but our services are available only 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. You can help with your votes: Visit www.refresheverything.com/211nwflorida. You have 10 votes per day, and there are multiple categories. We are in the $50,000 category so make sure you only vote for us in that category! Please vote every day!! United Way First Call For Help needs your help to get into the top 10 which would guarantee us the funding to make 2-1-1 a reality!
