Before Platinum Home Staging, Inc.

Getting Buyers to be interested in a 700 square foot bungalow is hard enough.

Getting buyers to be able to envision how  ANYthing can possibly fit into just 700 square feet and still be livable is also hard.

Getting Buyers to see that it can all be done, and with STYLE is where a Professional Home Stager will put your listing over the top and will actually entice Buyers to WANT to come see your bungalow listing!

ALL 700 square feet of it!

Home Staging Santa Monica: Platinum Home Staging, Inc.

Looking at on line Internet photos or print ad marketing, it can be very hard for Buyers to be able to tell the scale, size and orientation of a room.  By Staging your listings, especially the small(er) ones; rooms will actually look and feel LARGER!  If you were a Buyer, could you imagine that 700 Square foot could be so comfortable and welcoming?!

On the other hand: If you were to show your Buyer the room displayed below, would you know where to put the bed and be able to convince them that a decent sized one can really fit?

Before Platinum Home Staging, Inc.

By hiring a Professional Home Stager, there is NO GUESSING about it now!  This 1 bedroom bungalow was even able to accommodate a Queen bed and large dresser in a room that is only approx. 10' wide!

Home Staging Santa Monica: Platinum Home Staging, Inc.   Home Staging Santa Monica: Platinum Home Staging, Inc.

THIS little gem went into escrow just 13 DAYS after being listed on the MLS, while 2 other bungalows just steps away have been on the market for MONTHS!  (March 2010)

Small but super, duper cute. Very well-staged. Although it looked pretty nice empty as well!

Connie - Wow is right!  You did a sensational job on that one.  I love bungalows - especially the old craftsman style.  You definitely brought this one to life.

This bungalow is absolutely spectacular. I love the blue accents you used. So gorgeous.

Aloha Connie,

Super cozy and charming! I like the coordinated blues in the bedroom and the seasonal Tulips on the dinning table. If this were in Honolulu it would have a $700,000 or more price tag.

Peace,

It IS a super-duper cute bungalow! Thanks, Melissa!

Thanks, Laraine! We did try to stay true to the craftsman style while giving it a "pop"

LOL - it is, isn't it, Michelle! I Stage my blogs well ;D besides I'm PROUD of that designation!

So glad you like it, Anthea.  Blue has become my new "red"

Aloha, Kimo! This one is priced a bit more moderatly (ouch!)  The tulips were a last minute decision so thanks for noticing them ;)

Kathy, for a single buyer or very young & hip beach couple it would be perfect!

Connie, what a cute space with great details that your staging highlights.  I can imagine that when people hear or see 700 square ft. they think NO WAY but you've shown them the way!

Connie- Where do I start? First what a beautiful transformation of a blank canvas.  You've truly shown a buyer the "Liveability" of the bungalow.  Secondly- I love your presentation in the post.  You've brought the reader right into the post to want to read more.  Good job, as always.

I hope so, Nancy! There are now 3 avail for sale in this section and I bet THIS one will be the first one to go!

Thanks, Ginger & Maureen ~ If I were to see "700 square feet" I would say no way also - but it's SO cute now and everything FITS!

Thanks, Liz & Sally, as I've said - blue has become our new "red" ;)

So glad you like it, Melissa!

There's a little secreat behind those drapery panels, Cathy, I'll have to tell you about that later - LOL

Thanks, Michelle, that was our objective ;D

Thanks, Kathy! So often (esp. Realtors or Developers) think that small(er) homes or lower priced listings don't warrant Home Staging - this post shows exactly the opposite and how actually placing the right furniture in a space can actually make a tiny space feel LARGER!

Mary Lou, Kimberly and Marianne, Sam & Chrissie ~ Thank you & thanks for stopping by!

Definitely great before & after pix.

As one of us said in an earlier blog, staging takes the guesswork out of viewing for buyers.   They don't have to try & guess size or imagine furniture, it is in place for them to get a true perspective of the room size, furniture arrangement that works, while also picking up some decorating tips.

Great job Connie

Seeing is believing. Here in Toronto there are thousands of condos of that size and believe or not smaller. You would be very much in demand in our area with results like these. Congratulations on taking a house that no one was interested in to a magazine worthy home.

THANK YOU, Kathy ~ I'm honored!

Thank you everyone else who commented as well. I'm sorry I fell behind on my replies back to everyone: my laptop crashed and it took several days to realize it was just time to go buy a new one ;)  Glad you all like it!

Hi Connie,

Excellent use of this space!  YOU certainly brought life to this tiny bungalow and allowed buyers to envision themselves living in this space.  Great work!

A perfect example of the value of staging.  You have shown buyers how they can live in a space that seems far too small.  Bravo!
