7 Comments on The Special Meaning of Saint Patrick's Day in México
For any of you who saw this post, but didn't see the video from YouTube, I apologize -- I don't know why it didn't work the first time that I posted it. I hope that you get to watch and listen to it.
Hi Gary,
Thank you for the history lesson. Your youtube video is working. Nice way to start a Thursday morning.
Gary: This must be where the "St. Paddy's Day", phrase comes from, nice to know it's origin!
Judi, I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I thought that it was an interesting fact about México. It caught my attention when I heard the music.
Jane, Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the music.
Gary interesting blog would never thought about St Patty's Day in Mexico... LOL.. have a great week !
Gary,
Great post. I have seen the San Patricios celebrated in both Mexico and in Clifton, County Connemara, Ireland which was the home of John Riley, the leader of the San Patricios. Have you heard the song St. Patrick's Battalion by David Rovics. You can check it out here:

In terms of real estate, my brokerage, Maverick Investor Group, is doing some really exciting stuff in Nicaragua and would love to connect with you to discuss possible ways to do business together. Let me know if we can talk offline.
