We enjoyed your input on our April cover so much that we're going back to the well! Our May cover story is built around interviews with people who recently bought and sold homes. What was the experience like for them? What would they do differently the next time?

We came up with more than a dozen ways to tee-up the story on the cover, and we narrowed those ideas down to six cover concepts (below).

Please tell us which cover would be most likely to draw you inside. VOTE HERE!

I would go with number 4. I think it effectively points to a crucial point that engages my attention. Clean and neat.

#3 the fingerprint. But #1 has the best slogan or attention header.

I voted for number 5 as a referral clearly demonstrates the professional peformance was worthy of telling others.

I voted.... I love the survey.  I love PollDaddy polls but I don't know that I have seen surveys. I have fooled around with them but never posted one.

I voted for the finger prints.

4,5,6 are good but pretty traditional ..... I like the headline on 1 but not sure about the conversation bubbles.

I voted for the fingerprints too!  I thought that was a clever way to remind us that every client experience is as individual as the clients themselves.

I vote for #4 with #1's headline right under the REALTOR title.

I picked #3 because I like the spin on the NAR theme song "every market is different".

Customers?  What about Clients?  In Nevada we have a fiduciary relationship - the buyer or seller is a client.

I like #3.  This is how our team operates and it has been very successful for us.

Less is usually more. The one with the most white space will probably be the easiest to read. 3, 4, and 6 seem to have the most white space.

I like them all too, but would pick #2 as my first choice.  REALTORS need to listen, listen, listen.  That's why we have two ears and only one mouth!

I chose #4 because while you do have to listen to what they are saying, you also have to pick up on the subtle clues that they may be trying to convey.

2:07pm • #22

Fingerprints, #3, but with a better catch phrase.........  Maybe the combination of #1 with #3...

Your clients are individuals, but they're all talking.  Do you know what they're saying about you?

2:09pm • #23

I like number 3, Fingerprints. Understaning each customer/client is unique is so important

2:24pm • #24

I like #3, emphasis on listening skills and individuality.

Hello:

I used to deisgn page one for daily newspapers and also magazines and tabs.

I like 1, 3, and 6. The text on #1 is far superior to any of the others.

#1 is my favorite because of the title of the article.  That best grabbed my attention!  I would read that! (although, I have to admit, at first glance... before reading each one, my initial gut response was #4 for the simplistic cover look.)  But in reading the title's, #1 by far grabs my attention best.

I'll go vote right now for #1!

2:44pm • #29

# 3 is my favorite. I am most drawn to it, possibly because it feels very 'organic' to me. We are all human beings with different personalities and different needs. The Fingerprint says it all!

I select Number 1 , because at the end of the day that is all that matters.

With so much fraud and misrepresentation I don't want fingerprints and realtors to be on the same page , as number 3 implies

4,5, & 6 are not serious enough for the situation many are in and number 2 is just silly. An agent can listen all day long , but the client may not be in tune to todays market.

I like number three also because it show a great example of every clients uniqueness.

#1 I think we all need to listen more and open up lines of communication on the needs of the client who has educated themselves and may not want to go traditional ways of selling their homes.

#3 is my favorite because it shows how personal the task is to be a Realtor.....the fingerprints show that everyone is an individual and we need to listen to what they need and want.  No two are alike.....

#5 works, but with so many ads in the magazine overtaking content, I never open it anymore.

Oh- and ditto the confusion over "customers"- who has customers anymore, when client level service is so important? And, on a cover no less...there's a disconnect.

I have to say I like #2, There are a small percentage of very successful Realtor that listen, they make the sale look easy because...they know what their clients are truly looking for and know how to find it quickly. This is not rocket science people...fallow the clients clues and success is achievable.

Number 2 is clearly the most important skill any sales person can have. We all tend to listen to reply and do not really listen to what others say. If we really listen it makes our job much easier. Good listening skills are the keys to the other 5 things.

#2 - Listening = Respect.  If only we listened more... more marriages would survive, more kids would respect their parents and more parents would empower their kids, more teachers would learn from their students, more employees would be more productive in the work place... and the list goes on.

#2....helps us stay focused on what our clients say and want. It reminds me of the times when I disagreed with clients, but acquiesced to their wants because that is what they wanted. Hearing someone correctly helps validate the relationship and leads to good communication and satisfaction whether you agree with each other or not. Definitely #2......Thank you
