Anniversary Of The Iraq War
Today marks the 7th anniversary of the beggining of the war in Iraq. Even if you do no agree with the politics of the war, there are still members of our military services still over there fighting for freedom and against oppression for those people. And, our service men and women deserve our thanks, support, and prayers. Especially their families that are anxiously waiting at home for their safe return. Fortunately, I have never had to face having a loved one across the world involved in a long ongoing war. But, I can empathize with their families, especially ones with small children, who may have never seen their Father for the first time. I greatly respect these service people, and really get angry when I hear that they are being persecutedby our government for carrying out orders given to them by superiors, like the Navy Seals under indictment.
GOD bless our troops and the superiors that make the decisions which effect them.
