This is one of those things that make you say "Hmmmm"!  New listing, comes up as a "match" for my client.  We couldn't be more excited to see the FRESH NEW LISTING!  Instead we see the following:

I realize not everyone finds value in staging.  I personally don't get how you don't, but Ok - you don't.  I couldn't list this home in this condition, let alone take photos of it & put my name on it.

You never get a 2nd chance to make a good 1st impression!  Tell me it's not JUST ME!

Wow, that looks like my mother in laws' house, except hers is cluttered with longabergers, figurines, and other expensive crap that make her house look tiny!

I agree you would have a hard time selling aproperty looking like that.  If that is what people consider staging, so be it.  I would consider it cleaning a pig pen.

You can see the dust on the brick.  Actually see it!  Do you know how long it takes to see dust on Brick.  I will just say, it is a very long time!  Great pics!

IT'S NOT JUST YOU!  I see alot of listings on the mls that have pictures of clutter, and I'm always like, why would they put that picture on the mls. My favorite is when I show a listing like the one in your pictures and the listing agent calls for feedback and asks me how it showed!!

What I have been doing is taking pictures of the room prior to signing a contract.  I then make a virtual tour, review it with prospective sellers and ask them what they would  change in the picture to make the public appreciate the property, it works.

Jennifer has a great idea.  Checking with the sellers to see what they would change is priceless.  Some sellers don't recognize their own homes.

Jennifer:  Great idea... although I'm not that nice.  I tell them to CLEAN IT and then I'll be back
