Huge Canoe and Kayak Sale at Dick's Sporting Goods in Citrus Park Mall in Tampa Florida Ends March 20, 2010 Tomorrow

Earlier today I was at the Dick's Sporting Goods store in Citrus Park Mall in Tampa. If you are like me and love outdoor sports Dick's Sporting Goods is having a HUGE sale.

I bought a 15" Old Town canoe for only $399. It was marked down $350!!!

I am frugal with my money and have been researching canoes for quite some time because I LOVE to fish. I just happen to walk in the store and was amazed at the huge price reductions on some of their items.

On their website prices start at about $539 for a lesser quality canoe so of course I am very happy that I found a good canoe for nearly 50% off! You can too if you stop in at Dick's Sporting Goods but this sale ends March 20, 2010 which is tomorrow.

I have been checking out Craigslist and even this price beats out many prices for canoes at Craigslist.

So if you are in the Tampa Bay area and love to fish, camp, canoe, or kayak some of the items that I saw had HUGE discounts.

I saw some of the following discounts:

  • Golf club sets for 50% off
  • Woods: Titleist $499 wood for $199! So many discounts. I really cannot remember all of them LOL
  • Canoes and kayaks: HUGE price reductions. Some of them nearly 50% off!
  • Tents: I saw a few that were marked down. For example a 3 to 5 person tent from Quest marked down from $99 down to $39.99. The ones by Fish and Stream were marked down from $119 down to $59.

Just to name a few.

The sale ends tomorrow March 20, 2010 Saturday.

A hui hou * until next time*

Wow, what a great deal.  I am looking for a kayak and will check out your source.  I am always amused by some gender distinctions relating to shopping between men and women.  If you compliment a man on what he is wearing he gets all puffed out and appreciatve, but that is pretty much it.  When you do that to a woman she is far more forthcoming with valuable information.  Where they got it, how much they got it for and how much they saved.  That is awesome to me.  Never ask a guy, is my motto

I'm past my canoe stage, but I am hoping you bought a 15' canoe rather than a 15" canoe. $399 for a 15" canoe sounds pretty expensive! LOL.

Sorry. I just couldn't resist because I'm the type that if I found a cool-looking 15" canoe, I probably would pay $399 for it.

Lana  My husband and I love to fish, but not from a canoe - standing up is not an option :)
